Tony is a leader in both the business and political sectors. He was previously the CEO and President of the New York investment management company Wertheim Schroder Investment Services, which grew from $400 million to $4 billion in managed investments under his leadership. Tony also was previously the Founder and CEO of ETC w/tci, an education and training technology company in partnership with the leading cable company TCI.
In the political sector, Tony was elected as the House Majority Whip of the U.S. Congress and served as a U.S. Congressman for six terms.
While in Congress, Tony championed several landmark bills, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, and also served as the Chairman of Vice President Albert Gore’s 2000 campaign for U.S. President.
